Pendant je déménageais, j'ai passé une opportunité brève où j'étais capable de jeter un coup d'œil au blogue de Lucie, et elle avait affiché le chef d'œuvre des acadiens en Nouvelle-Angleterre!

Fingers crossed! I'd like to think it's a nearly sure thing, but I met some of the folks from LA last week and they're pretty passionate about it too -- 2019: Lafayette? :)

You can bet that whatever can be done to spread the word, get help and prepare will be done!

It's out of our hands now. The jury was here last Saturday after visiting Lafayette, La., and Québec City. L'annonce sera faite le 9 aout pendant le CMA 2009 a Caraquet, N.B.

But if we get this, we'll be counting on you to spread to word and prepare les acadiens / acadiennes de la nouvelle angleterre pour 2014!

Est-ce qu'il y a quelque chose qu'on peut faire pour aider la vallée comme candidat? Je sais pas quoi, mais on a accès à plusieurs personnes ici et, comme un des eux, je voudrais que ça va réussir!

That is interesting, Don. Considering this and the Trésor de la langue française au Québec of Laval, I'm surprised that I haven't found a dictionary created by UMaine for the Yankois dictionary we're discussing over at the "academie".
